University and College Fellowship (UCF) is our campus ministry for anyone who is studying at College and university. We are always excited to make new friends. And no matter what campus or courses or background you are from UCF is for you!
We welcome people of all ages, all church backgrounds or none, and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time. Our main aim in meeting together is to hear God speak in his word the Bible and to encourage one another to be personally following Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. We have a heartfelt desire to reach out to every student with the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Our main UCF meetings are held on Saturday mornings (10.00 am – 12.00 pm) and Saturday afternoons (2.00 – 4.00 pm) at St Mary’s Cathedral in Glass Room 1. We study different parts of the Bible in small groups, and think about what it means for our lives. Along the way, there’s plenty of food, and fun and fellowship too!
Another key aspect of UCF is our discipleship groups. We seek to meet up in small groups of 3 or 4 on our campuses to read the Bible, pray and encourage one another.
We also have:
- Public talks dealing with common questions people have about Christianity.
- Camps where we spend more extended time studying God’s word and building relationship with each other
- Socials – Having fun andgetting to know each other more
